Spring on 7th Street
June 03, 2021
Spring is here and the 7th Street Artists are ready to get back into the swing of things!

Jose Hernandez and friends continue work on the 7th Street Mural Project. The group is planning several events this year and will be kicking the year off with a Spring Art Market!

This Sunday, April 25, 2021 11am-6pm.
Location is the corridor of 7th Street between S. Park and Coates near the White Water Tavern

This creation is called Breonna Taylor by Talia Winkler. The cover for this article is called Peace and it was created by a collaboration of 7th Street artists.

This year the group will continue painting the murals and events like this help raise awareness of the art on 7th Street, raise funds for needed art supplies, and helps connect artists with the community.

The art market provides a public space where local artists can gather and network with other artists, collaborate together on new projects, and inspire each other and the community. 7th street creates a safe organic space for artists to feel free to express their creativity and share it with others.

Come out this Sunday for live performances, art demos, workshops, live painting, games, and activities for the whole family, art market, plus food and drinks.

Some of the artists you can expect to see there are Judd Mann, Motsy Motifs, She Studios, Rolling Hills Pottery, Man vs Wheel, Art by Dorae, Natures Adornments, Smoke + Smudge, Tanya Hollifield, River Chaos Studios, Rock Fire Designs, Get Warped Weaving, Dedicated Visual Art Studio, Delicious Catering Tamales, Lil’ Kahuna Shaved Ice and more.

Social distancing and masks when you cannot distance are very much encouraged!

The press is cordially invited.
